Model the gap between POD production charges and payouts with daily cash balances, payout overrides and a downloadable scenario ledger.

What this tool helps you check
A profitable-looking order can still leave a cash gap when fulfillment charges arrive before the customer payment becomes available. Use this scenario to inspect the lowest projected balance and the extra opening cash required to maintain your chosen reserve.
Choose inputs you can support
Use the same currency for revenue, costs and balances. Base payout timing on your own provider account. Include production and shipping charges, fees and the other expenses represented by the inputs. Try a slower-payout or higher-cost scenario to see which assumption changes the result most.
Read the daily ledger before making a decision
Check the dates of outflows and usable payouts as well as the closing balance. The model starts without a pre-existing payout pipeline, and receipts earned near the end can fall outside the forecast. Missing expenses, holds or a different sales pattern can change the cash requirement; treat the output as a planning scenario.
Use the result with evidence
The example values are illustrative. Replace them with your own assumptions, keep the exported scenario, and verify the result against your actual operating workflow. No account or email is required.
Open the matching worksheet in the fillable workbook (PDF, page 31). Download and save your own copy; PDF viewers vary in how they preserve form entries.
