WooCommerce Care & Maintenance

Care from $199 USD per month; Care Plus from $349 USD per month. Coverage, access and the store’s condition are assessed before acceptance. See plan inclusions and exclusions.

WooCommerce care provides scheduled updates, backups, monitoring and purchase-flow checks after launch. Choose a plan around the upkeep your team needs help with; new features and major repairs are scoped separately.

Care or Care Plus: which fits your store?

Plan (USD)Starting coverage
Care · from $199/monthOne standard store: scheduled updates and checks, backups, monitoring, monthly checkout check and report.
Care Plus · from $349/monthCare coverage plus two hours of agreed improvements or support each month. Priority business-hours response; unused hours do not roll over.

Choose Care for scheduled upkeep, or Care Plus when you also need a small allowance for agreed changes or support. Coverage, support hours and response targets are agreed before enrollment. This is not a 24/7 emergency service. Additional work requires approval; an onboarding review identifies any separately quoted remedial work.

The next phase after launch

A live store needs ongoing attention as WordPress, WooCommerce, extensions and business requirements change. Maintenance supports the store you have built, while your SEO and traffic work brings people to it.

What a care plan covers

  • WordPress, theme and plugin updates, with compatibility review and an agreed testing process.
  • Scheduled backups, retention and recovery responsibilities, with restore checks at an agreed frequency.
  • Security and availability monitoring, with a defined route for reviewing alerts and responding to issues.
  • Checks of key buying journeys, including cart, checkout, order email and digital delivery where applicable.
  • Troubleshooting and a record of changes, findings and recommended next actions.

Start with the current setup

For a store we did not build, we first review hosting, software, integrations, backups and known issues. Existing problems or unsupported components may need a separate preparation phase before ongoing care begins.

Agree the responsibilities before support begins

Your care agreement defines coverage, frequency, support hours, response targets, access requirements and who owns each task. Hosting, paid licenses, provider charges and major remediation are included only when explicitly listed. Pricing is agreed by scope.

Keep maintenance and new development clear

A redesign, new integration, large catalog migration or new feature is normally scoped separately. Care does not replace order fulfillment, customer service, marketing or legal and tax advice. Monitoring and updates reduce risk but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or prevent every security incident.

A practical care cycle

  • Review the store and agree a baseline, owners and priorities.
  • Schedule updates and backups around the agreed operating needs.
  • Check the important customer journeys and record the results.
  • Resolve covered issues or recommend separately scoped work when needed.
  • Review the plan as the store and business change.

Plan the next phase for your store

Tell us what your store sells, which systems it connects to and who handles upkeep today. Contact VisualVast to discuss care, or begin with the Readiness Audit if you are still planning your launch.

Care can follow a new store launch or migration to WooCommerce. The migration’s limited defect-correction period is separate from an ongoing maintenance agreement.
