SKU Builder & Collision Checker

Create a variant SKU planning register, check collisions against your existing list, and export CSV without changing your store.

Plan identifiers before importing products

A stock keeping unit (SKU) is an identifier you assign to an item or variation. Choose a consistent naming pattern, enter the options you actually sell and provide the existing SKU list you want checked. A generated combination is only a proposal; remove combinations your supplier cannot fulfill before using the register.

What a collision warning tells you

A collision means a proposed code repeats within the generated batch or matches a code in the list you supplied. Review the affected rows and revise the naming pattern. No collision warning does not prove that the code is unique across other stores or providers: this tool does not connect to them.

Check the CSV before using it

Confirm that each sellable variation has the intended identifier and that any connected systems use the correct mapping. The CSV is a planning register for review before any product update. Keep a copy of your existing mapping before making changes in your store.

Use the result with evidence

Replace the sample options with your actual products, review the exported register and check provider requirements before applying it. No account or email is required.

Open the matching worksheet in the fillable workbook (PDF, page 13). Download and save your own copy; PDF viewers vary in how they preserve form entries.
